Partnerships
Western Daily Dispatch considers collaborations that fit its focus on rural landscapes, routes and map literacy. Partnership proposals should explain the subject, intended audience and proposed placement.
Relevant collaborations
Possible work may include clearly identified partner features, useful resources for readers interested in countryside geography, or a page placement connected to maps, rural places or landscape interpretation. We do not accept arrangements that require editorial conclusions to be changed or that imply an endorsement we have not made.
How partner placements are labelled
Paid or partner material is labelled clearly where it appears, so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. A label remains visible alongside the material, including in any standing partner placement. Commercial relationships do not determine our independent coverage.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the partnership reason. Include the organisation or project name, the proposed subject and format, the intended placement and any relevant timing. We review proposals for fit and clarity; sending one does not guarantee acceptance.
The landscape is a record of choices
Fields, paths and boundaries are not just scenery. Read together, they offer a way to notice how land has been used and how places connect.
